Pancakes...i Made Some Earlier

I put Nutella, strawberries and chopped hazelnuts in mine. They were delish :o)))

I know this has been asked many a time on AB but so many new people join throughout the year and its Shrove Tuesday on......well, Tuesday! Do you make them? What fillings do you like?

I like traditional best but if you want to try something "not normal"

mix cherry icecream and garlic and herbs cream cheese - + lemon juice and sugar coat the pancakes ....there is something about cold icecream rolled in hot pancakes.

The merest smidgin of castor sugar and fresh lemon juice. I like my pancakes wafer thin - almost transparent. Delicious :)

I made a pile of pancakes when I was about 19 (a couple of years ago) and was ill for days afterwards.

Funnily my eating companion (dog) was not ill at all and he ate as many as me.

I think it was stomach flu (does that exist?) but it still puts me off making them again.

I like waffles with ice cream and/or fresh cream

I usually just have sugar and lemon but i fancied something chocolatey. I forgot to mention they had bananas in them as well. Sounds a lot but they replaced my dinner :o)

I like mine with sugar and lemon, the younger ones love nutella, ice cream and chopped or mashed banana
