Is Microwave Cooked Food Safe

A young lady I know is quite determined that eating food which has been microwave cooked is dangerous. She's not talking about burning your mouth on neuked food, or the plastic container thing. She reckons the food changes, chemically or some other way, and actually becomes dangerous to our health if we eat it.
What do you think?

Of course it's safe, you would have to be ignorant, an idiot or both to think otherwise.

I never eat food cooked in a microwave. I just use it to heat things, like beans etc. I also use it to microwave my tobacco.

I would be more worried about the carcinogens produced when grilling meat than food cooked in a microwave.

To be honest, I'm not right bothered about that either. You would end up starving to death if you followed all the guidelines.

A lot of elderly people i know, eat nothing but cold or microwaved meals and have done for 30 years plus. It's more dangerous to eat food not cooked properly.

If there was the slightest whiff of danger from microwaved foods, the manufacturers of the machines would stop selling them for fear of having to pay out zillions of shekels in compensation.

I nearly always cook dinner the night before and then nuke it at dinner time. I realise that heating up is not cooking from scratch, but either way nuking is nuking.
