'fess up, when did you last have a Maccy D, KFC, kebab, pizza slice?

I'm fairly sure I've had a takeaway this year but cannot recall what it was.

I am in need of chips though and will be going out for lunch this week to satisfy my craving.......might have to head out twice if I can't find a menu combo that involves chips and Hollandaise after Mamya's declared supper this evening!

How often do you get a takeaway/delivery or eat fast food whilst out and about?

A doner kebab is processed lamb meat.
I discovered that MacD do a quite large chicken salad bowl for a very modest price. Hot piece of chicken ( chicken burger ??) , lots of varied leaves, cherry tomatoes, and so on. Very fresh, very nourishing. So now every time I go on a major shopping expedition, that's where I lunch.
Just had a Chinese ta.
A lump of grey, leg shaped meat, revolving all day in front of an electric fire, before being put in a 'fridge overnight and brought out again the following day to rotate in front of an electric fire again. That can't be right.
I've never even been tempted to eat a donor kebab. Even after a night on the beer. Blugh.
Shame on you Graham, it should be made law that everyone has to have at least one donner kebab in their life after a night on the p1$$.
Love em and all that manky salad they chuck in....the more onion breath the better and mix this with the garlic mayo and the kebab grease dripping down my chin, no one wants to go near me for a month of sundays !!!!! lol
I'd never eat any of the aforementioned - I'd rather have an M&S sandwich.
OH got a Burger King in the airport in January. I got sushi from M&S but did have some of his chips.

I quite like MaccyD's and BK but that's probably because we rarely have them.
Not had one this year. No delivery out here in the wilds

Not this year, think we might have had a Chinese last year!

Hhmm, interesting and not quite what I was expecting!

For some reason I thought that takeaway/delivery was more commonly used than it would appear based on the replies so far.

Takeaways are really expensive.

I was shocked at the price of fish and chips.

A takeaway for us usually costs about £25 so although the kids love them me and OH are not big fans so I begrudge paying it.

You're right about the expense Ummmm.

I'm amazed at the prices on the leaflets that come through the door.
We have had a few kebabs and a few McDonalds over the months.
We had pizza delivered last night, it was yummy.

In the dim and distant past I recall going to a kebab shop on a night out.

I've never trusted Doner kebabs and favour chicken shish kebabs.

I placed my order and was surprised that the guy picked up a cooked skewer of chicken and started assembling my kebab straight away, I was a bit surprised but just assumed that as it was a busy night they were cooking the kebabs constantly rather than to order.

After he'd assembled the kebab with salad and and my choice of sauces he wrapped it in paper and bunged it in the microwave!
Ive never seen that before Eccles, not good!
I`ve always said we could do with Panda Express in this country. I would have thought there`s a market for it and it would be a great alternative to some of the rubbish that is available as fast food (and a lot cheaper than the Chinese restaurant)

I can promise you Ratter, nuked lettuce is NOT good!

237SJ, I'm sure there are outlets similar to Panda Express in shopping centres and motorway service stations around the country.
