Two Year Old Cooker/oven

Have been using above. It has a top oven - fan assisted
bottom is always - fan assisted and also can be switched to conventional.
I am happy with above BUT
Top cooking when I turn rings to my highest number ie 6 and I want them to stay at 6 for quick cooking - cooker cools down and it fairly stresses me out.
When I read the manual it does say there is a cut-out temperature thingmabob for this therefore cooling the rings up and down. If got a qualified electrician could I get this cut-out temperature taken out completely but if not I may think of a new cooker. It took about 1 hour to do 3 rashers of bacon in - up high then down low -then up high. Thanks for any advice.

The thermostat used to cut the grill element off so it never stayed at its maximum temperature, impossible to grill anything.
I got in touch with the manufacturer (could have been an electrician, it's a long time ago) who came out and said the thermostat was faulty and changed it. No further problems, grill stayed on full unless I turned it down myself using the grill control knob.

It was quite a long time, as I thought at first that's how it was supposed to work. It was only when my sister commented on it that I realised there was probably a fault. It could have been as long as you but I'm really not sure.
If I was you I'd get in touch with the manufacturer first and see what they have to say, it's only two years old and should be covered under warranty I would have thought. If not, but there's still a fault, then you can decide if you want to pay to get it fixed.

I am frying it on the hob - the hob lights bob up and down all the time but my neighbour reassured me and says it has happens to her and she even showed me just an hour ago. Having said - her hob deffo would stay on much long then reduce for seconds then up again. I am happy with everything else. It was expensive two years at about £550. Zanussi.
