I made them a while back (got the recipe from Pinterest), wasn't as easy as it looked to be honest, they wouldn't keep their shape while I was trying to dunk them in the melted chocolate. In the end I chucked the whole lot in and made choco coconut balls, they were lush :)

right here goes
397g.can condensed milk
200g.desiccated coconut
200g. milk or plain chocolate.
pour condensed milk over the coconut and stir til evenly mixed
grab handfuls of the coconut mix and shape into bars.arrange on a baking tray or greaseproof paper and set in the fridge.
melt chocolate,on hob or microwave and allow to cool,spoon over the coconut bars and leave on a wire rack to harden,once set enough to handle place on greaseproof paper and chill in the fridge 'til chocolate is fully set.and there you have your finished bounty bars-they couldn't be easier.ENJOY.

I reckon more than most don't like it Tilly, my kids don't. Suits me as I get all the mini Bounty bars in their chocolate Heroes or whatever they're called.

Looks like the same recipe I had. If I make them again I think I'll put them in the freezer instead of the fridge, it might help them keep their shape better.
