just been asked by the kids how long an unravelled Shredded Wheat is.
Anyone got any ideas.
cos im stumped.
It must be out there somewhere but 10 mins of googling and i still can't give them an answer

But if you measure the dimensions and then estimate what diameter you think a single strand should be, you should be able to divide the volumes and come up with a length for your hypothetical single strand. After all if you are out, who could prove it anyway ?
I can and regularly do eat 6, Not in the same bowl, 2 at a time, the milk has to be really cold though so they aren't too soggy.
I suppose if i count the strands on each side then measure the width of it i could work it out.

If they aren't knitted !!!! then it must be a turning machine that spins it a set amount of times then chucks it off the end LOL

you won't find a video as the intellectual property in the food business is highly and secretly protected believe me. I have worked on agri-projects for a couple of the majors and am more than aware of the protection afforded, tight confidentiality agreements all over the place if you do get to see the process that you are interested in.
