Unless I've been really stupid looking on their website the nearest one is some seven miles away from central London.

I believe they have none in Central London at all. Nearest to the City is probably Ilford (20 mins on a train from Liverpool Street)

If you want a steak house look into Black & Blue, Hawksmoor or at a push Miller & Carter.

By the way, if you just fancy a steak why not try a Wetherspoons. There are a few half decent outlets in and around the city. The Green Man at the Bank (underground next to the tube station) Hamilton Hall (Liverpool Street Station) and the Knights Templar (behind the Law Courts) are not bad.
