Saw mince pies on sale in local Asda yesterday. Are they now on sale all year round or have they just started going on sale in readiness for the C-word (Won't mention it yet as it's still 6 months off!)

Truro Cathedral's Xmas store was open last week and some distinctively American Christmas items in its stock......
I thought they were available all year, nothing seasonal about the ingredients is there?
Shepherd's pies and Cottage pies both contain mince. Eccles cakes contain mincemeat.
I love mince pies... I always thought they were seasonal. I'll have a look for them next time I'm in Tesco.
You can have mine, I don't like them.
Send them over mamya - I eat them all year round - love 'em.
Inksplotter, that not the same mince that's in Christmas mince pies!
I'll swap you for a Malt loaf Cap'n.
Arksided adds malt loaf to the list...
Ooooh, malt loaf, slathered in butter wi' white crumbly cheese thereupon....
Yummy
Why not...you can get Cadbury's crème eggs all year round...
And i used to think when i saw crumpets in the shops it was a sign of winter but we bought some last week from Morrisons.!
My local Asda has hot X-buns all year round...I always buy some whenever I go there.
Really losgigs! Brilliant, love them. You can buy mincemeat in the jar the whole year round but not the pies.
Eccles cakes should only have currants and butter in them. Never mincemeat! When I lived in Manchester they were very particular about it.
...currants, butter AND mixed spice, surely?
Sorry! Missed out the spice!
