L-IK, I thought a depth charge was a shot glass filled with a spirit, submerged into a pint? I think Sandy is referring to just pouring the vodka into the beer

puzzlemaniac - you're right, I was merely trying to move the discussion on :-)

I have fond memories of my dad trying a Depth Charge consisting of lager (I forget which brand it was) & Drambuie (his favourite liqueur) - he loved it, wanted another & mum said "That's enough for now, I think!"
