I've been invited to the Battle Prom at Ragley by someone I like and want ideas for a nice posh picnic please including wine / champagne. It's only for two people so it can be as varied as you like, both happy meat and fish eaters, no allergies as far as I'm aware. Thanx in advanx lol :)

We saw the battle proms at Hatfield house a couple of years ago, they were truly magnificent. ..and very, very wet :( Whatever you decide to take in terms of food, I'd highly recommend a couple of large brollies and a waterproof. Never been to a "Battle Prom" or any other Prom, but aged 16 inviting an "upmarket" intelligent girl like you......then it would have been.....
2 tickets for the local repertory production....ice cream at half time....a fumble to hold hands when the lights were dimmed.
Gentle walk home, through the playing fields and a snog behind the pavilion, followed by a Fish and Chip supper with bread and butter and a cup of tea thrown in.
I know.....it doesn't help your situation.................;-)
