I think if they're wrapped and smoked Tilly, you won't have to do much more than eat them and as askyourgran has said they've been treated so keep longer, my sister lives in a very rural district, she married an Italian, his Mum sent over parmesan cheese, the mailman couldn't find her address and for weeks was going around with a stinky van.. the cheese was in good condition and edible when finally delivered and her postman was ever so relieved to have finally found they're cottage
