Swedish Italian Fusion

We've been to chotto matte in London which is an unlikely fusion restaurant of Japanese and Peruvian cuisine, and actually really enjoyed it, very tasty and interesting..if a bit noisy.
Tonight, after a root on the freezer I came up with bolognaise sauce and janssens temptation, both of which I really like, so decided to forego spaghetti in favour of the janssens temptation.
Don't bother, it was vile.
Any other odd combinations you've tried which just haven't worked? Or any that have?
