Can't remember what Lincolns are like now. I got some Palmier biscuits in Asda last week £1 lovely, scoffed them all myself.

I love this and it's true. If you've ever seen the programme (the title of which I forget) you will recognise it.

A commission was set up in the 1950s to reconsider the laws on homosexuality and prostitution. There were some ladies on this commission. In order not to offend them the chairman looked around and saw a plate of Huntley and Palmer's biscuits on the table. He tentatively suggested that in future homosexuals should be referred to as "Huntleys" and prostitutes as "Palmers". This met with universal approval.
