Has any one got a recipe for these please? I think they are boiled, then sliced and cooked with garlic and oil in the oven. A local restaurant served them but now it has closed and I can't find a recipe anywhere.

Thanks!

They sound nice, carole. I might try that.
Sorry Tony, repeated your link there. :-)
No problem, Mamya. She has two chances now ;-)
I think I'll give them a miss. They look a bit greasy to me.

Thanks guys and gals. OH wants them on Sat night, I will leave out the chorizo and not so much oil. This restaurant served them crispy but soft in the middle.
I'd leave out the chorizo, too. I hope you enjoy them, carole.
Ooh, I wouldn't. We're going to Majorca soon, I'll look out for those!
I'd have thought that Mallorcan potatoes were simply potatoes that grew in Mallorca.

Maybe the restaurant had their own recipe and merely named them Mallorcan Potatoes for the menu ?

This link doesn't seem to have an exact match, but the BBC one for Tumbet suggests you could be on the right lines.

It was Mari Vell in Cala Bona, usually called Begonia's after the owner. It was always full as the fresh fish and lamb dishes were wonderful!
