Good morning everyone - still on the sticky side here, with none of the promised rain ... I think it all went north-east from here and landed in Brisbane, poor souls !!

We also missed the hoped-for deluge of points, but then when colours come into the mix, we can be all washed-up !!

Guess if we'd all stuck to food and drink we'd have been OK .... as it is several players collected three points for two correct matches, plus a good sprinkle of single points, all of which will show up on the Leader Board.

Just a word in passing - I'm lucky enough to be able to print off a copy of the crossword at 12.00am which means I can print a copy of the clues for you all and these usually proves very useful when making entry selections. Perhaps some of our more recent 'arrivals' aren't aware of this, but this post is only one or two before the one starting the game and once you've read the link words, then do check the clues just to be sure you're not 'doubling up' .... for example - the clue from Saturday was VICTORIA PLUM and its very very unlikely this would reappear as the match for the link ...
