Since your advice a few weeks ago, I have been keeping bags of flour in the freezer and it has been absolutely fine. I still look (out of habit) for the little mites/weevils but they are not a problem now. It's such a pleasure to know I always have flour in the house and don't have to worry about any infestations so many, many thanks for your good advice.

Well, it wasn't my own idea - I have lived in hot countries and have had to fight all sorts of bugs. I even had to keep fudge and sugar in the fridge - the only place the ants couldn't get at them.
By the way, you might even find that freezing the flour actually kills any lurking weevil eggs. Or whatever pre-weevils are called. Freezing certainly kills moths' eggs - I keep all my winter cashmeres in the freezer all summer. No mothholes, but not much room for ice-creams.
