Sorry that meant to say can I only use Nesspresso Pods
You need to be very certain that any other pods are actually properly compatible - or they won't fit/work.

Tesco sell these :

Others are undoubtedly available - try googling "nespresso compatible".

Thanks for the replies peeps. I will defo try the ones from Tesco
Manufacturers just hate it when other organisations produce supplies that fit their devices, but unless that have a patent on some novel aspect of the process there is little they can do about it. So it's the same with coffee machines, vacuum bags, printer cartridges.
Original manufacturers make a lot of followup income from the on going supplies, often more than on the original sale.
Provided the cartridge seems the same physically, then there is no harm in experimenting; of course the quality of the coffee is a variable too.
Hi Rosie
We have a Nespresso machine and have tried a few "compatible" pods - some fit some don't. We tried Tesco's own, they fitted ok but the taste left a lot to be desired. There are also some other pods available on line, just google compatible pods - we also tried one brand, again the taste was pretty poor. We now only use Nespresso bought direct. A bit pricey at 30p a pod, but what do you pay for a decent cup of coffee say in Caffe Nero - £2.50 or thereabouts.

Morning all
I went to Sainsburys yesterday and purchased Dualit NX and Carte Noire. The whole lot cost me less than £8 for 30 pods. Mr Rosie seemed to like them and they fit perfect. I will continue to purchase the real Nespresso Pods but these others are good as a standby.
Thanks to everyone for taking the time out to help. Happy New Year xx
