Vegetarian Dinner Party

I have 5 vegetarians coming for dinner soon. What can I feed them for a main course other than the usual curry or chilli? I'm not confident in doing a pasta dish like spaghetti - bit too many guests. Any impressive mains out there I can rustle up at all? I am quite a confident cook by the way (other than the spaghetti part!)

I hate chilli, not too keen on pasta either so a risotto is always a good choice. A vegetable casserole I also lovely at this time of year. If you can be bothered, try a mushroom Kiev. I'd go with a risotto though.

Vegetarian Lasagne
packet of fresh lasagne sheets
large pack of spinach
large tub of creme fraiche or greek yoghurt
garlic
nutmeg
mushrooms
soy sauce
butternut squash
jar of pesto (red pepper works well)
pumpkin seeds
grated parmesan cheese
Slice butternut squash in half lengthways, sprinkle with olive oil and roast in hot oven for half an hour. When tender deseed, peel and slice into wedges.
Place spinach into colander and pour over boiling water to wilt the spinach. Squeeze all water from spinach. Place spinach in bowl and add 1 minced garlic clove, sprinkle of nutmeg and 2 tablespoons of creme fraiche. Season with a little salt and black pepper.
Put a little butter and olive oil in wok and gently fry sliced mushrooms and 2 cloves of minced garlic and some soy sauce. When they smell ready take off the heat, drain and place in bowl. Add 2 tablespoons of creme fraiche.
Place most of the slices of squash on bottom of ovenproof dish and spoon over some pesto.
Cover with a layer of pasta.
Place most of mushrooms and sauce over pasta.
Place most of the spinach over pasta and cover with a final layer of pasta.
Place the remaining bits of vegetables and pesto over the pasta and drizzle over some creme fraiche (or plain yoghurt) and the parmesan cheese (or any grated well flavored cheese will do). Sprinkle pumpkin seeds on top.
Bake in a hot oven 200 for half an hour.
