He bought a frozen lobster before Christmas. Decided we would have it tomorrow as a starter. He decided to attack it today. I left him to it. Later heard violent banging in the kitchen. He was attacking the thing with a rolling pin.
He managed to get just about enough to make a lobster type prawn cocktail. I looked at the kitchen there was lobster all over the tiles, cooker umpteen utensils, cupboard doors and the floor. It took ages to clean up. He must have lost more than he collected.
next time tell him to wrap the claws in newspaper, just open the paper in the middle, put the claws in and close it again, before attacking with the rolling pin.
Eating it tomorrow, I knew it would take a long time to sort, and I didn't want him in the kitchen while I'm cooking tomorrow, so he prepared it today.
this might sound daft Caran but did he wait until it had defrosted ? I also have one in the freezer and realise I must eat it soon before the sell by date.
