Howdy doo'dy doo all.

What is everyone having for their tea (dinner, lunch, evening meal)?

I'm from Yorkshire so I call it tea...

Melv's already indulged us on a previous thread (Sausages, mash (I hope so), Yorkshire puddings, cabbage, peas and onion gravy).

So what are you doing to 'fill your grill' tonight?

I'm being treated to tea out tonight :-)))
spag and meatballs, might do some garlic bread, not sure yet
Lamb Biryani (Ready meal) having a lazy day.
Paprika chicken, not sure what with yet.
Cock a leekie soup.
Gammon Steak, Egg Beans & Chips probably - been a long day !!
Homemade beef burgers, sweet potato wedges, salad,
I call it dinner (from Ayrshire) now live in north east of Scotland and they tend to call it tea, so confused kids call it both. Lol
We're having venison burgers for tea. Trying to live out of the freezer so meals have been quite interesting over the last week or so. Amazing the stuff you freeze under the impression that you will actually eat it some day.
Haha that's true 2sp I've made some very random teas when I'm trying to run the freezer down!!
I really should start writing on tupperware when I bung things in the freezer. 2 years later and I have no idea if it's turnip or pudding rice...

I once had a 18 year old venison steak that was in the freezer. It was nearly as old as me at the time and I've never had anything nearly as good since then.
There are quite a few mysterious objects in my freezer 2sp.......

My labelling isn't always as good as it could be:-(
I know what you mean I've got some unidentifiable food in mine, think some of it has fossilised at the bottom lol
Hommity pie for us :-) cant wait!!
Slow roast lamb and all the trimmings.
I must admit to being fussy about dates on food, if its out of date it goes in the bin, if I think its been in the freezer for more than a few months it goes in the bin, if I dont recognise or dont like the look of it, it goes in the bin.
I've just had some lettuce leaves with caesar dressing for my tea but I'll have something else later for dinner. Haven't decided what yet.
pulled pork.
tigs, what's tea for you? Is it a mid-afternoon snack of some sort?
Talking of emptying the freezer of random items - I planned on ostrich steaks tonight that have been hanging around for quite some time, but I was having another day from hell at work and Mr.AC was not convinced I would finish at a reasonable time, so he is cooking chicken curry instead. Bless him - I'm at work at 3 again tomorrow and just got home, so not many hours inbetween work and play. Apparently we have leftover curry for brekkie tomorrow then steak and kidney pudding with mash and veg for tea. The ostrich steaks will still be sitting in the friggin' freezer this time next month :(
