Cabbage and Bacon pudding?

my grandmother used to make a delicious savoury steamed pudding thing, I cant remember what its called or how its made.  It was white and contained cabbage and bacon, it was heavenly and I would love to make it for my family!

Actually come to think of it, it had bacon and onions in it, not bacon and cabbage

I know it as Buckinghamshire clanger - mother in law makes it.  It used to be taken by workmen in the fields with the bacon cabbage at one end and jam at the other end so you get both courses in one!  Seems also to be known as Bedfordshire clanger see
