Had a hamper of coffee (Columbian & Brazilian) & truffles for fathers day, which I have used up, so want to order some from Tesco, but there so many to choose.

I like coffee with a bit of a kick if that's the word, and at a reasonable price?

Thanks.

It's often falsely assumed that darker roasts will have more of a kick but lighter roasts actually have more caffeine content and (importantly) preserve far more of the subtle flavours of the beans.

So I suggest avoiding anything labelled as 'dark roast' or 'rich roast'. It tends to be only specialist coffee shops that offer 'light roast' coffee; with the supermarkets you'll need to settle for 'medium roast'. So this, on a special offer when you buy two packs, might suit you:

The foregoing assumes that you want your 'kick' from the caffeine content (while being able to enjoy some wonderful flavours). If you'd rather have a coffee that simply 'punches you in the face' with its flavour, look for an 'Italian roast'. e.g:

You can't go wrong with any of the Lavazza ones, and a decent percolator trt.
I buy from Grumpy Mule online their coffee is excellent, if you spend £25 carriage is free it usually lasts me at least 6 months. Once opened keep the pack in the freezer.
What would you class as a 'decent percolator' SirOracle?

Thanks for the links.

I haven't a percolator, just one of those cafeteria things, that you plunge down.
