Smoked Haddock and cheese fishcakes. I was going to serve them with salad, but the weather has turned grey and cole and the rain has begun to lash down, so they will be with chips and peas instead.
I'm finding that I'm planning a lot of meals which can do either cold or warm weather these days :(
Oh yes, Ummmm, it sure is :)
Every time we have it we smack our lips over it. And because it's got such an intensity of flavour to it you don't need much do you?
Enjoy your steak or whatever you end up doing.
What leftovers?? ;)
No, probably not, we enjoy it so much just on top of pasta I'd feel I was doing it a disservice if I smothered it with white sauce and cheese.
Jordain, I've given up cooking to suit the temperature of the day.
Well, I'll let the side down haha! Was having a mooch in Morrisons earlier and found some Walls Sausages which are already cooked so was going to slice one up on a ready bake roll with some tomato sauce for a quick easy tea.
I have a feeling I may be disappointed as I questioned buying them afterwards (was tired and wanted to get home). I do love cold sausage though. We shall see!
If they are horrible then it'll probably be fish from the freezer with some low fat oven chips. Feeling the need for some comfort food with this horrible weather, heavy rain on and off most of the day here and got wet waiting for the bus.
Oh Eve, your posts on these threads always make me smile :)
I most sincerely hope you enjoy your chicken soup, a real feel good...maybe not quite what the sausages had to offer had they been nice, but hey ho, win some, lose some.
Our ragu was, as usual, delicious. There are now seven more double portions in the freezer. With any luck they'll last till winter...or not ;)
