I watched the eclipse up Dunkery Beacon. BTW - there is a nice walk at Mortehoe if you go up the end of the village, out past the old lighthouse and follow the path around back into the village. We just park outside someone`s house.

One of my best ever afternoons was horse riding along Woolacombe beach, finishing with the horses swimming in the surf with us clinging on for dear life - fantastic fun.

I think they want to extend the Tarka trail through Willingcott. Would be a lovely cycle ride but some of the land owners aren`t too happy
