We're having borlotti bean tiger prawn and chorizo horneado, it's just having its last ten minutes in the oven, one of our favourites.
Washed down with a bottle of chilled Villa Maria, maybe followed by a small glass of Pedro Ximenez....
...and you?

My usual Saturday night Pizza.
What' horneado?

We're having a bit of a mix up, cold hams, cheese and crackers, salads etc. Can't wait.
You're posh ethandron! We're having egg and humous salad with new potatoes. Raspberries and yoghurt to follow!
Pizza here also...always on a Sat night, but just a cheapo basic cheese + tomato, which I top with a tin of pilchards, mashed. That's our omega 3 sorted. Also with baked beans on the side. ;)

Horneado is a 'Bake'
Question Author
Horneado apparently means something about baking or bread, I just googled it. This dish has a topping of torn up bread so I guess that's where the name comes from. It's really tasty, and although a bit of a faff, is well worth it.
I like pizza..and cold meats, etc :)
Do you have any side dishes with it ethandron?
Question Author
Well, I like pizza but not sure about pilchard pizza..much as I like pilchards.. And with baked beans, er, a very interesting combination ;)
Horneado sounds posher than it is, it's really, really nice, give it a go if you like chorizo and tiger prawns.
Question Author
No we don't maydup, it's an all in one dish. Google it and you'll see the recipe.
Eth, it sounds delish, care to share the recipe?
I had a large Braeburn apple and a coffee.
Well I'll be having my usual Saturday night curry.

Tonight it's a fish and prawn curry, rice, roti paratha and salad.

Home made, and smelling great at the moment.
Anything that doesn't involve cooking, too hot for me.
Oops, should have read Eth's reply properly.

Thanks Mamya :)
Where the heckypeck would you get fresh Borlotti beans?
Question Author
Have a look at britishlarder.co.uk for their recipe, it's the one I use.
I use tinned borlotti beans, add more tiger prawns, more red peppers..without their stalks..and an extra half a lemon.
Question Author
Yep, the foodily one is almost the same. Tinned beans I get in sainsburys.
Spam and a fried egg.
Eccles, I really don't believe that ;)
