Sunday. I don't know what it's like out, haven't had a look yet.

Returning to Yate today, staying an extra night there, home tomorrow.

We had a trip to Barnstable,, then to Ilfracombe yesterday. The sun was out all day, s o we did the grockle bit. We a nice pub for lunch. I know I know. Where else would boaty have lunch? very pleasant day. An excellent dinner in the hotel, all the staff were in Halloween costumes. Great fun! The food here is very good and the portions ample. Drinks expensive though.

I'm ok ta Boaty . You ? Nov 1st aready. Where has the year gone eh? Today is the London to Brighton veteran car run so I'll waddle down to the seafront to watch them all arrive. A wonderful sight and without any exception, they are all amazing machines.

Afternoon oz. Money evaporates rapidly in hotels mate. We've had a good time though.

Had the vile little trick or eaters around the street last night. GGGrrr. So many kids have moved into the street since last year. It looked like the Burbs from Hicksville USA. They were everywhere. Some dressed as dragons! Why? is a dragon Halloweeny?

Aww Jan ... For some reason I had much h fewer trick or treaters last night, two groups of three then nothing. I notice Tilly had the same problem. Now left with various sweets & cake, glad I never went to the trouble of icing them like last year.
