Why should you avoid spirits and drink alcohol in moderation when eating Oysters?

I belive the oyster shrivels up into a hard indigestible ball once excessive alcohol is added. Dont know whether this is true but sounds feasible.

Oysters make you horny and alcohol removes your inhibition.  How can that be bad?????
