Basic Kindle (5Th Gen) Issues.

I've a few issues with my kindle and would appreciate some ideas on how to solve them. I have a 5th generation kindle. it is the one that i call basic. no touchscreen or back light and a few buttons for options.

Kindle wont always switch on and a couple of times a week now to get it on i have to reset it which obviously is not normal. twice not all my books have downloaded or registered. for e.g. the archive on last reset showed 800 books instead of 1012. two days later they showed up.

My kindle had a lot of books on and was slow or freezing. I reduced the number sending hundreds to the archive. however, this hasn't helped any as it is still slow and freezes, now id have thought switching off or just leaving it would work but it stays frozen for hours and doesn't switch off even if I don't touch it.

I buy books via the kindle and on the PC at library (often i have kindle at my side) but the books do not download for a few days or so. my kindle can be on and connected to WiFi but no joy. I use my kindle almost everyday and it can be switched on connected either automatically or i click sync and check. but, no books show up as new for a few days.

I am now regularly clicking on a book to open and being told its not there. asking if i brought it from amazon please delete and download again. I've found if i close folder and go to menu then back to book it opens.

At the end of a book is the option to save and send a review. i do this 9 times out of 10 but even if i'm on WiFi and definitely connected i get the message saying connection error to review service. I've had this with every book for the last two weeks and i cannot figure this either.
