Like if you're not in people's faces with it. It still appears to annoy people. Anyone on here get annoyed or have any reasons why?

Some people on here refer to it as a fad diet.

I don't eat a lot of meat these days as I find it difficult to digest so it doesn't bother me cooking for vegetarians. I am more annoyed by people who refuse to try anything.

My father in law is the fussiest eater I've ever met. He won't eat pasta, rice, anything foreign and the only vegetable he'll eat is processed peas. Even a carrot is enough to get him in a panic.
You think that's fussy, NoM, my cousin only eats crisps!
I dread to think what your cousin's insides look like.
So do I. He only drinks coke as well. He's in his 50's now.

As suspected. Most of you seem ok with it. Yeah fussy eaters annoy me. Ones who won't try something so don't know if they like it or not
Maybe encountering a vegetarian reminds some people of what needs to happen to get the meat on their plate. And that is something they'd rather not think about.
Meat is murder!
Well so's fish, Sandy, but there'll be plenty of it going in my paella later. :)
Ummmm, a friend of mine (Indian) lives on McDonald's and coke. She never eats vegetables as she claims they do nothing for her!

Does your cousin have any teeth left?
My OH is a fussy eater, drives me nuts as he won't eat rice, pasta, or chilli and curries, but the thing is he has never actually tasted any of them so how can he know he doesn't like them? Won't change him now at his age.
Sounds like my FIL. If you suggested a curry to him he'd probably have a panic attack.
Yeah...full set. He drinks water but doesn't drink alcohol so coke is his drink of choice.
It is. But fish don't seem to have the same appeal as doe-eyed calves or rejects from Babe who failed their auditions.
will there be mussels in that paella and maybe some pulpo? Sounds tasty.
At least meat eater don't cook their meat alive.
And think of oysters, dispatched into the burning digestive juices of epicures without even had a scalding bath.
And scallops. Hugh Fearnley-Whittingstall ate one straight from the sea.

And look at how fish are kicked about on boats. If we done that to cows they'd be outrage.

(I love eating fish)
i get a little annoyed when I watch come dine with me and the vegetarians have a separate meal but when they cook they expect everyone to have veggie food the same with three in a bed they ask for veggie breakfast but don't cater for non veggies when they go to their places .
Vegetarianism....the fad that enthuses but doesn't persuade.
No pulpo, Sandy. I like squid but I don't like octopus.
I am not a vegetarian, but will eat vegetarian meals as I always find them tasty and enjoyable. I would NEVER call a vegetarian or a vegan, it's their choice and I respect it.
