If prunes are dried plums surely that means that the juice has already been removed, so where does prune juice come from?

I have a serious constipation problem due to Parkinsons disease recently diagnosed I am concerned about developing a "lazy bowel" because of regular use of pharmaceutical drugs . i.e -Docusate. I am also prescribed sachets of Macrogol/Laxido which do help but can easily cause severe diahorrea if used too regularly, I have to learn to find the right balance. I would also be grateful for any advice. Good luck to you.
