I have a jar of these in olive oil. Can someone tell me what they taste like? And because they are in olive oil once opened will they last long?

I love them...I tend to think a lot of the flavour comes from the olive oil and seasonings. I'd say they have a mild and slightly nutty taste.

Would they go nice with a roasted figs and parma ham salad type thing?
to me they taste a bit like asparagus with some lemony sharpness....very nice. There should be info on the jar about how long they last once open...I would say weeks kept in a fridge provided you get then out of the jar with a clean fork or spoon.

Thanks...

I can't see the writing on the back of the jar. I'd have to wait for OH to read it for me but that's okay as I have to wait for him to open the jar anyway....so so weak :-)
I can't think how to describe the taste except to say they are soft in texture and in flavour. I would use them for a pizza topping, in an omelete or quiche, or as you say, with a salad. They will keep a while in the jar treat them as you would pitted olives for example.

i love them, i like them on pizza with parma ham or just eaten straight out the jar
