I've been collecting all the soft bananas which are past their best, in the freezer, for the last few months. Yesterday I whizzed them all up in the processor and made banana ice cream...total success! Nothing else in it, just whizzed up frozen bananas, very creamy and really nice.
Well worth a go.

It is isn't it Caran, I really didn't expect it to be so good. Its a good way of using up old bananas.
I'm going to try this.

Have a look online Ummm, you need to give the frozen pieces a really good whizz up to make it creamy. My processor turned the bananas into small frozen crumbs so I just squashed the crumbs into some plastic containers and refroze them, very successful.
I've often thought about doing this. Sounds yummy. I will try it sometime. Thanks.
