I usually warm a plate in the oven at 100c
Some tips here, I use a variety of methods depending on space in the oven and how many I'm serving.

Thanks guys!!
80c is ideal - but 100c is the lowest my small, spare oven will reliably go, so that's what I use.
put them in the microwave
As I have a top oven I don't use, I put the plates in there as the heat rises from the main oven.
I suppose it depends how many plates you have.
We just wet them, stack them and bung them in the microwave for about 1 minute.
Also my rule of thumb is don't bother warming plates for under ten year olds or you waste time telling them to either wait or 'blow'. :-)
Didn't ovens used to come with a built-in plate warming drawer? What happened to them?
I never bother warming plates unless my dad is here. He insists on a warm plate. I put it in the microwave for about 2 minutes.
That's why the old ranges were so great , warming cupboard for plates, bread proving or jamas - bliss.

Of course there are modern versions.
Oven will be full of food
My food never stays long enough on the plate for me to bother warming it up first. I can be halfway through my pudd before everyone else has cleared their plates- think I hoover food up :-(
