Can I ask why you don't want to make your own? It's really easy and you can freeze it.

This is the best one...

Shop bought ones are full of sugar.
With your stomach issues I would have thought that a quick homemade one would be far better for you than a shop bought one full of sugar and other additives!

I knew there was lots of sugar in the shop bought one - I will follow Ummmm's recipe some time. Just wanted a shop bought one for handiness sake.
That sounds like a nice recipe Ummmm!

the only shop bought pasta sauces I would recommend are the Paul Newman ones, not stuffed with sugar and chemical additives. Not sure that he has a bolognese version though.

Home made is best and doesn't take a lot of effort.

Islay - you have got the wrong girl - I don't have stomach issues - now and again diverticulitis but that would be it.
Look like Loyd Grossman's Tomato and Basil. Jennyjoan.
It's lovely, JJ, I just add a little extra fluid.

Shop bought I think are much the muchness. All very similar but in taste tests co-op often fairs very well.
Agree, Loyd Grossman's Bolognese sauce is a handy store cupboard stand by.
You're the spag bog hero, Eccles :-)
I`m sure a bit of sugar won`t kill her. Anyway, jj if you just want convenience you could get the Schwartz spag bol mix and just make it up yourself.
Apologies I thought you had been on here complaining of stomach issues!

Ummmm - what's lovely your link or Lloyd Grossman's
Lloyd Grossman JJ. I think it's perfect. I mix tin tomatoes with mine to make a bit more.
I think I might weep from despair.......
I always make a huge batch and then freeze portions.

don't cry Eccles
On days of despair sometimes even taking the lid off a jar is too much to contemplate.
If you can't be bothered to make spag bol from scratch you may as well just have a cheese sandwich.
With some tomato on ?
