I'm doing a Tesco shop and so far it's all seafood based.

We love salad...everyone else will eat anything.

I do have duck breasts and lamb steaks in the freezer.

On order...

Cod, Tuna steaks, Jumbo prawns (raw), cockles, lives mussels, salmon fillets.

What would you choose to go with these?

(If Talbot looks in...I have two lots of spuds on the list) :-)

Cod smothered in paprika and turmeric, fried, and put to a plate whilst a onion, tomato sauce is prepared with nigella seed, fennel seed, cumin... can't remember the other ingredients. It as a light and tasty Indian dish.

Prawns served with romesco sauce.

Tuna, chilli and lime marinade. Use the marinade to make a sauce and add coriander to finish.

Cockles and mussels aren't really my thing. A Thai style dish with the mussels, i.e. Chilli, galangal or ginger, lemon grass, coconut milk, lime juice and coriander.

Oops, I read 'go' for 'do'.

I've never eaten mussels or cockles.

Smow...Have you got a Tesco near you? You must try fresh mussels...yummy.

And super easy to cook...only take about 5 mins.

I can provide a recipe for the cod everything else can be googled so you choose something to your liking/store cupboard /fridge!

I usually use the cod for beer battered cod and chips. It'll be nice to try something different.

To answer the subject I'll be knocking up a twice cooked pork in a sticky sauce with egg fried rice and veg.

I'm having baked potatoes with salad. I'm deciding on the salad though. I have rocket, baby toms, palma ham, mozzarella, spring onion. I could add in either scallops or baked figs....choices choices.

With a balsamic glaze.
