I'm feeling guilty because I didn't mention the Veneto Chardonnay they had on offer (down from £4.99 to £2.99) a couple of weekends back. I didn't want to recommend it as I'd not tried it but now, having worked my way through half of the case I bought, I can tell you that it's as good as many wines I've paid a tenner for. (It'll be on offer again eventually though; Lidl seem to rotate their wine offers).
Neither did I mention the South African Cabernet Sauvignon which was reduced from £4.49 to £2.99 last weekend. (I gave that one a miss though, as I'd still got plenty of wine to drink, so I can't tell you if it's any good or not).
This Saturday (and Sunday, if they've not sold out, as they often do) they've got a white wine (Côtes de Gascogne) and a rosé (Syrah/Grenache from France) on offer, both down from £4.99 to £2.99.
Lidl doesn't have wine on offer every weekend but it certainly happens quite often!
