Positive Drug Test At Work.

I saw this on the BBC the other day. A man went to a site to carry out a repair but as it was a secure venue, he had to have a drugs test before he could enter. He took the test, which turned out positive for Heroin. The man, in his fifties, was absolutely astounded and insisted he had never taken ANY drugs in his life. He had to have a disciplinary and as result of that, he lost his job. He was totally baffled as to how he had tested positive for Heroin. His doctor asked about his recreational habits, diet etc. When he told the doctor he would eat 2 slices of brown toast every morning, maybe one at night, the doctor asked if the bread had any seeds on it. Yes it did. Poppy seeds. That proved to be how he had gotten the Heroin in his system. But the seeds are only small and contain only minute traces. How could he have tested positive with such a low intake? It turns out that some batches of seeds will contain large amounts of Heroin, and the full loaf he had been eating that week must have been topped with such a batch. So, if you like your "healthy" brown toast that is topped with Poppy seeds -BEWARE!

and got the answer - one slice in May 2017 - oo look a binge in April! - a toasty binge that is with a little loopy honey, only white bread in March.....just a bit in Feb ( of brown bread) Jesus what did you stuff up your nose in January ? .....

Weird, I could have sworn I read about poppy seeds / drug fail here before today.
Personally I can't see how anyone could fail; don't the bakeries and supermarkets have to throw out all the poppy seed contaminated items when they fail to sell ?

Ha ha hovis seed sensations is the only bread I eat. Just checked the contents and poppy seeds on there.
I save up the seeds from the bottom of the packets and eat them with a spoon - thems is the best days.
