Friday. It's raining. It dried up and the sun shone yesterday in time for the barbie at the hospice, which was a great success.

I lost the internet yesterday morning, it's been intermittent ever since. As I drove past the junction box there were two Openreach vans there with both blokes working on the junction box. There are forever bloke working on it! Why they don't put a new one in a better place I don't know. So if I disappear again this morning, that's the reason.

A busy day today, prepping for a dinner party tomorrow. I'm dong an Irish menu.

Got a friend coming up to Stoke from Northampton for the day, looking out of the window the weather isn't going to be too great for it, very overcast.

It was clear until we joined the M74 stopped for a bit and it has started again, but I'm glad I'm in the car and have my brolly in my bag.

fine ta..busy day oot 'n' aboot yesterday did all my shopping and went to cemetery as I will not be able to with visitors coming on Sunday, my usual day, need to get floors cleaned today and will prepare guest room tomorrow...meal planning later...
