The Big Family Cooking Showdown Replacing The Great British Bake Off

We always enjoyed ‘Bake Off’ but did anyone else see the BBC’s replacement programme last night? What a tedious load of twaddle. We switched it off half way through. If they want to retain viewers I think they have to do something better than that.

Agree, I thought Beth Twaddle was going to make a guest visit. And what did Zoe Ball and Nadya wots-her-name thought they were doing? Redundant - well they ought to be.

DTC, I agree. What a waste of space they were. Hopeless. I haven't seen any reviews of the programme, but I can't imagine they're going to be good.

I only saw the last 10 minutes. If that was the "exciting" bit, count me out. I'll not watch it again.

I thought it went on too long! Three meals were too much. The team that won only cooked pasta to impress Locatelli. They made a mess of the last meal. The other family were quite strange, especially the grandmother. Got bored after the second meal but stuck with it. Don't think I will watch it again.
Celebrity Master Chef on tonight, but can't stand Leslie Garrett!

I didn't see the programme last night but will be watching Masterchef. I agree about Lesley Garrett, no doubt she will start singing again.

I have no idea whatsoever who Noel Fielding is. Never heard of him until now. Has the new Bake Off started yet?

I rather like Noel Fieldings dry sense of humour. Can't say I give his appearance a second glance.

I won't be watching GBBO now it's moved to an advertising channel, but I suppose I could always record it. Not a fan of Noel Fielding.
