Bought any yet?
1st November himself will be making his world famous xmas puds, tiny savoury scones, and maybe some Florentines.
My six Christmas card will be written on that day, and during the following week all six presents will be purchased. Ha!

Himself made a purchase today.

I will hopefully make a couple of purchases this weekend whilst having a few days away in a splendid town filled with independent shops.

His Christmas present will be purchased on line but I will be paying attention to anything he expresses an interest in whilst we are away.

I will send a max of two cards and he can sort himself out.
Bought quite a lot, all hiding in box.
No! I look forward to the end of season so I can relax and then there's Christmas looming and more work to do.
I shouldn't moan. There'll be a day when I'm all alone.

I do all my Christmas shopping online in a panic sometime in early December.
three down for my sisters......

No card for me, ethandron?....bursts out into tears....
I will sit down at the beginning of December and buy the lot in one go - I'll do the same in November when I get the stuff for the advent calendar bag of doom.

Oh heck, sherr, what's the advent calendar bag of doom?
It's a big furry Christmas sack filled with 24 wrapped edible gifts (some better than others) and they take it in turns to open them. Some nights might be something dullish like mars bars and other nights it might be a little card saying chocolate fudge cake and ice cream. The Christmas Eve one is a bottle of coke, Pringles, biscuits, chocolates, etc.
bordeaux, scotch and port perhaps, sherrard?
I have started making my presents for the girls at work, they are having bottles of caramel gin with a small sparkly gift tied to the bottle like a costume ring or pair of earrings for a great little shop we have here.
Brother and his husband to be want vouchers, kid sister wants concert tickets and hubby will be anything to do with board games or star wars.
MIL will be a food hamper as we have no idea what to get her and father and step mother will be whisky and cheese hampers - so a lot of easy gifts for me this year
I don't buy any...Problem solved :-)

Plus his boss gives him a generous xmas bonus and Tesco vouchers so xmas doesn't actually cost us anything.

He'll usually buy his mum & dad a present but they are away this year.

(I do give the children money...that's all they want really)
I'm doing shoebox appeal - few gifts for just a few pals, my sis that keeps in touch with me regular that;s it, oh, I'm on a committee and will be doing the secret santa, I know it has another name but I can't spell it
As we are both orphans now, Christmas is really good fun. We only buy for each other and often go quite daft. I spend the whole year listening and watching to get all my present ideas. I've bought a couple of quite expensive gifts and lots and lots of less expensive ones. Last year I think I bought her about thirty gifts in total.
