I won't, not a fan of them really.
No.
No, I used to try to make them when my son was small but don't bother now. Mine always turned out too thick and gloopy anyway.
No but I do miss my Mum's pancakes. Like you, we had to have lemon and sugar on them
I like mine with orange juice, rather than lemon, please Tills.

Orange juice coming up, Sugar.
Thank you honey....XXX
You can now buy them already cooked. Just bung in the microwave.
Was going to say orange juice with Shoota for me till you two started flirting..... ;-)
I hope so, bought lemon juice earlier.
shrive
you proddies - you do know shrive is to confess ?
well shriven is well confessed ( = get it all off your chester)

short shrift - bless you my son and ged outta the confessional !

In the doo dah of Mr Widger - the gurl who has Done it ( done in her half brother ) confesses to the murder in the anglican faith. The vicar then claims the sacred protection of the confessional to Victorian outrage and disgust.
( think typical suspect on AB having read an article on sex crime in the Daily Mail) - and the archbish of cant feels obliged to write to the Times and say that Confession is a sacrament in the Anglican Church

whats wrong wiv shriving before pankies ?
You're welcome G, Tills and I have an 'open' relationship...
I'll make a mountain of pancakes when they're at school and then I'll zap them after tea - we have lemon juice, castor sugar and golden syrup on them :)
The term 'short shrift' comes from when people were summarily executed and given a very limited time to make their confession before the axe fell.
Thank you, Shoota...just don't bring the mare....she'll eat all the pancakes... :-(

Why not have them more often then?
Savoury, seafood baked in a cheese sauce, memories of Tiggis Bolton, and ice cream with chocolate sauce, memories of Jim's Den Gibraltar!
Send her an amusing email.
I may, Shoota....but she may say neigh..... :-(
