Why Don’T I Like Meat Balls?

I’ll happily eat burgers, koftas, chipolatas but not meat balls!

It makes no logical sense.

I’m just weird I guess????

Senses of taste are individual, they defy any attempt at logical analysis.

For instance, I have the palate of a five year old - I could exist on the same three children's meals rotated every day until I die, I have no interest in food at all.

My lovely wife on the other hand enjoys great pleasure in eating, when we go on holiday, she likes to see the dinner menu as early as possible so she can anticipate it - part of her enjoyment.

Food doesn't interest me much either. If I'm hungry, I'll eat anything. If not, I won't. Meatballs are nicer from a slow cooker though:-)

I wouldn't choose meatballs from a menu because they are usually awful. They are often made from poor quality meat, and unlike with burgers etc., restaurants often rely on the sauce to give any flavour. I do make my own though, and really enjoy them.

If I made my own meatballs I would be in control of what went into them and ensure they had a good flavour though. For some bizarre reason they simply don’t appeal.

I know where you are coming from Bednobs, I occasionally have a fancy for cheese on toast but if the cheese is wrong then it is just greasy toast :-(
