I’m about to throw all my herbs out. My house is full of tiny flies from the herbs. I’ve tried yellow stick paper and watering at the roots only but they have just gotten worse. Any tips for next time or should I just buy from Sainsbury’s

I read somewhere that you should let the compost dry out completly between waterings. That way you kill them off. I don’t know whether it works though.

last year i got rid of an infestation by spraying fly killer on the soil for a few days in a row - just enough to break the breeding cycle.
