I've been in bed now for nearly 2 hours and I can tell it's going to be a night where sleep eludes me completely. My bedroom is like a sauna and there's nothing but garbage on the box.

So ... I just went and fetched a very nice G&T.

Anyone else indulging?

joking apart, have been out for the day and awake for most of last night. Sleep isn't even an option at the mo.
If a large dose of alcohol does the trick...then why not?

No I'm a water only girl at the moment. I had too much to drink a few days ago and did not have a nice time, so that's enough of that for me. I imagine at some point in the future I'll have a an odd glass of something but that's a ways away, so you can have mine :) x

You know. I know what you’re all saying. I used to have a drink problem , got over it and didn’t have a drop for 8 years. I was prescribed Temazopam to get me to sleep and now take it every night. The doctors want try to get me off it. I live alone since my husband died in 2011. Do they want me to hit the bottle to get to sleep, or take the pills??

I have the odd g & t but never feel 100% in the morning.

Alcohol is evil.
