Alcohol Free Beer

Well, I`ve just had a Budweiser Prohibition lager - don't think I`ll be buying any more of those. I wonder why all alcohol free beers have that funny, cloying taste?

(I love wheat beers, so I'd be tempted to try Franziskaner Alkoholfrei if I was forced to avoid alcohol but I know that wheat beers aren't to everyone's taste).

Brewdog nanny state is the dogs whatsits, if I’m to believe family members who’ve tried it.
Mind you, we’re all shareholders, including the pup who is an official equity pup and has the collar and tag to prove it, so could all be a bit biased... ;)

A friend and I tried alcohol free lagers a while ago. We tried Becks Blue, Cobra and Bavaria. I have also had Heineken in Saudi Arabia. The Becks was ok (ish) as was the Bavaria but they all have that strange taste. Same goes for the Bud it seems. Anyway, am now sampling Sainsburys Czech and it's lovely - have finally found a good one. DT - there is alcohol free cider. I tried the Kopperberg pear one - one mouthful and it went straight down the sink.

I have tried it but I’m not a beer or lager drinker, quite enjoy a really dark one now and again, Jet Black Heart is lovely.

I dunno if you can get it in the UK but I had Heavenly Body Golden Wheat from Wellbeing here yesterday with lunch and it was really nice.

I found the Becks Blue had a very soft flavour - it was OK but didn't have any '"bite" to it. We mixed half Becks and half Bavaria and that was quite a good combination.

Probably cancel my suggestion then because I liked Pear Kopperberg, it was my go to of choice when I was Desi Driver ( sister of Minnie Driver lol :)

In answer to DTC, yes. Kopparberg at least make a nice mixed fruit one.
