Thinking of using the vegetarian frozen meal supplier Allplant to supplement our eating (as Mrs B has broken her wrist and thus our normally-shared cooking is now solely my task).

Anyone here used them? Any comments appreciated.

In the absence of personal reviews on here, have you looked on Trustpilot? They get 95% "excellent" reviews....seems like a good choice.

Ouch poor Mrs B and you for having to deal with everything alone. I dont have experience of Allplant, but I had a quick look at the website and they seem to encourage orders of six dishes at a time. All of which seemed quite small.

There are some reasonably acceptable microwaveable meals in the supermarkets, with decent sell by dates. You could buy half a dozen and some pingable side dishes or side salad and not have too much work yourself.

I'm sure people here will come up with some more easy options that might work for you too. Jacket potatoes with cheese and beans? Are you vegetarian or did you go for Allplant for simplicity?

Thanks. (Vegetarians, Maydup).
I've had dealings with Wiltshire farm foods and the food was excellent.

Wolf: Wiltshire's frozen omlette and chips puts me off a bit, I must say, but I'll have a better look at their site. Another I'm perusing is cookfood.net, which has some tastier-looking options.

Here's another to include in your research.

And a report from the veg society which might help

how are you both?

Hello Eleena. Fed up but carrying on (Mrs B). Tired and frustrated at my physical limitations (me).

But we will survive, and thanks for asking!

BillB
Well, that's to be expected I suppose bain. I have a way of doing things he doesn't do the same, but hey,in the circumstances. I can imagine the frustration though. Any luck in your searches for the future?

Cookfood.net. Ordered £40-worth, coming tomorrow, looks good, but I’ll report back once we’ve tried them!
