Butternut squash, leek and bacon risotto
Oh for the love of God. AB has moved away from conspiracy theory to its usual anodyne tripe.
Chips.
Not sure, may make a corned beef hash.
Thrice cooked Pete?
A beef casserole from the freezer.

It`s part of a huge batch I made a few weeks ago. So much more economical to batch cook/bake when I pick up foods on offer. I seem to remember this was when I had a large bag of onions to use.

Tonight I only have to boil some potatoes and finish off a cabbage, so it will be all made in about half an hour. Very useful on busy days.
Belly pork, Roast, carrots broccoli, peas and apple sauce.
Spicey wings...not sure what else. Maybe it will just be a carnivores paradise.

That sounds lovely Margo - apart from the butternut and leeks ;)

Jack - if you're not careful, I'll stick you in a pie!

Pete, will you jazz them up with some S&V?

Good old comfort food, Mamya.

Chicken wings are huge in Spain, Pasta. It's almost the national dish, after paella and zarzuela.

I agree JJ. I have to batch cook for the tiny tot now and freeze down into little portions. I just tend to do the same with our food too.

Are you having a proper sauce with that, Ummmm, or gravy? The trouble I find with belly pork, as nice as it is, is that you don't get any meat juices for gravy. Luckily I always have batches of frozen gravy.
I'll make a home made apple sauce. I just make make a normal apple sauce and then add apple juice to it to make it thin. The kids love it.
How do you cook anodyne tripe, I've tried googling but can't find a recipe

You see, JD's a true foodie at heart...
Ham sarnies on the M25

Two *** hour delay.
Question Author
I hope you've got mustard on those sarnies, Talbot. A ham sandwich just isn't the same without mustard.
I've already made a big dish of corned beef hash, ready to heat up for tea time. Bring on the tomato sauce ...!
I'm having quiche.
I am catching up tonight with old work colleagues and a curry is on the cards. Looking forward to a jalfrezi and the works.
Don't know yet. Probably fish.
Question Author
Sharon, I'm seriously jealous. I could murder a curry, I really could.

Hereiam, nooooo. It has to be "Broon".

Strawberry, you just reminded me that I intended to make a quiche. I really must find the time to do one.

Patsy, good choice. It's proper brain fodder.
