Looking for a recipe for Crepe Cake
6 Answers
I am looking for a recipe for a crepe cake which I saw in a bakery once. 20 crepes are layered to make a cake and in between each layer is a bit of custard. I know how to make crepes but can't seem to get the custard part right. Does anyone have a recipe for this or for a custard that would be just right? Something kind of light and easily spread. Thanks a bunch!

go to discovery home.com look under heading for crepes and pancakes, there is a recipe for crepe cake with a wonderful custard and twice as light crepes. you will love it
this cake was shown on one of the shows. Have been most happy with receipe . Their recipe in the store was topped with a caramelized sugar. however. any wonderful flavor, choc sauce, vanilla bean sauce, lemon, etc will ad you own touch. to caramalize the sugar you can use the small blow torch procudure that is used for fast results, hope this is what you are looking for. if you cannot find it
email me and i will e mail it back.
