I am fascinated by Police Dogs, especially the big Hairy Germans, and this one should go far. I hope he does well in the Police force.

A second chance.
How good is that?

Ozzy, are staffies devil dogs in your part of the planet? They are great dogs that look tough so sub-human scum get their hands on them and turn them into problem dogs.
Staffies don't have a good reputation down here Wolf.

Neither do some other breeds.

But, no dog is born bad.

As you say, depends on the lifestyle.
Staffies are incredibly common around here (we do border Staffordshire) and they're beautiful cteatures but due to their physical similarity to pit bulls, there's a culture of fear and as such they become mascots to less dersirable individuals.

The staffies I've come into contact with have been loving, docile creatures.
Rottweilers are on the list of dangerous dogs down here.
Had friends that bred them, won lots of shows, sold many pups, and I was happy for my children to spend time with the dogs.
One pup they sold had to be "put down", probably because it had the wrong owner.
Thank you Wolf, that is a lovely story.
Cooper could be Tilly's great, great grandson. They both have exactly the same markings, even down to the reducing white bits on each foot. Tilly also like looking for things that you've hidden. It is uncanny.

He looks as though he is really enjoying his new life. Good luck to him. Lovely boy!
