Ireland - What's More Expensive And / Or Unavailable?
64 Answers
Hello Chaps
I Day is approaching - not counting any chickens yet (or casting any clouts for that matter) - but our migration to the Irish Republic has turned from a vague pipe-dream to something that might actually happen in the next few weeks.
We're starting to make lists ... lots of lists ... and one of them is about stuff we need to stock up on - either because it's ruinously expensive over there (hello Wine and Ibuprofen and all other OTC drugs), or because it just isn't easily available there (various essential cookery condiments).
We do know the place preety well, or we wouldn't be moving there, but can any of our Irish Members (or anyone else with useful local knowledge) prompt us to add things to our lists?

Not at all Gness,
No nasty dig at all. After all you are the one who likes to tell us of your outlandish and highly improbable and imaginative disasters.
